Bill started with really interesting cracked ice mammoth featuring terrific hues of creamy light beige, coffee and brown. The ivory has very interesting age marks on the surface which are quite unique. Just as interesting, is the Robert Eggerling Composite Snakeskin mosaic damascus blade. This high contrast steel has been expertly etched by Mr. Ankrom and combined with lighter shaded Devin Thomas raindrop patterned damascus offers both variety and contrast in coloring and patterns. Boy there is a lot to admire in this beautiful knife. Add to this beauty amazing fit, finish, feather smooth action and vault like lockup, and it is easy to see why Bill Ankrom's name rings out loudly in knife circles.
